Branch Assistant (Yard Based) – Athboy

An opportunity has arisen for the position of Yard Person based in our Athboy Branch in Co. Meath. The roles reports to the Branch Manager. This role is for a contract of 6 Months.

Overview of the Role:

You will be responsible for providing customers with a fast, friendly service within the branch. You should give all customers immediate and undivided attention, while working with fellow employees to provide the customer with a pleasant experience.

What will you be doing?

• Provide top quality, fast, efficient and friendly service
• Ensure  Yard Stock Control system is maintained
• Maintain a clean yard and work environment
• Have a neat appearance
• Competent safe forklift skills 
• Be able to work in the shop as and when needed
• Follow all company policies

What skills will you need to have?

• Have a friendly outgoing personality & excellent customer service skills.
• Possess experience working with people or in a busy environment
• Have ability to perform multiple tasks
• Have the ability to work in a team and on their own initiative
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A person with an agricultural or farming background is desirable
• A forklift licence is desirable
