We are looking for someone who is hungry, driven and ready to seize this opportunity as their first break. This role will give you the chance to really understand how a business and a brand operates, from sales to marketing and much more. You will have the unique opportunity to work as part of a small team managing a dynamic brand within the FMCG space.

Purpose of role:

As a National Account Executive here at SlimFast you will get the opportunity to rapidly build your Commercial skills in one of the UK’s fastest growing FMCG businesses as you support us in driving towards our commercial targets.


This unique opportunity will enable you to support in the Management of major retailers across the UK and Europe from sales & negotiation all the way through to helping shape the commercial strategy of the SlimFast business. This role will also give you the opportunity to develop new business as well, and take responsibility for some accounts of your own as they grow under your stewardship.


Additionally you will possess strong analytical skills and support in the Category & Insights function analysing and presenting key business data on a weekly basis helping us to shape the strategic future of the SlimFast brand.

Key Role Accountabilities

  • Support the Commercial Controller in the management of our major accounts both in the UK and across Europe
  • Manage the relationships with key customers ensuring all facets of each account is handled competently both internally and externally
  • Support the Commercial Controller on key Business Development projects both in the UK and across Europe
  • Owning internal business development projects such as bringing new products to market and identifying new channels
  • Presenting sales data on a weekly basis to the business, with support of key account managers
  • Analysing sales & promotional data, presenting findings as well as making recommendations to the team which help shape the future direction of the SlimFast brand
  • Support in preparation of Board Decks and retailer presentations
  • Attending external meetings with a host of different retailers
  • Ownership of business Master Data
  • Owning retailer-specific insight via pricing surveys, store visits and the media to present back to the SlimFast team
  • Close alignment with third parties to ensure new products are correctly set up

Office Support

  • Stock orders and deliveries
  • Event and transport planning
  • Manage office supplies levels, and ordering when needed


Experience Requirements:

You should have a mix of strong communication and interpersonal skills, dynamic and positive “can-do” attitude, pragmatism, aptitude for planning, flair for figures as well as a creative touch, integrity and ethics… and your personal touch! You’ll need to be hard working, resilient and of course be prepared to get your hands dirty!
