Overview
Tirlán is offering a unique opportunity for a graduate to join our team as an MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) Associate in our Ballyragget facility. This role will report to the Process Team Manager.
Responsibilities
• Scoping, defining, requesting and validating change requests for MES.
• Coordinating site resources in supporting the MES Programme of work activities.
• MES lead for all projects that take place on the Ballyragget site
• Collaboration with GBS for site MES and driving support from same.
• Site point of contact for MES support Matters.
• Promotion of MES Usage/Utilisation and recognition on site.
• Training of site MES users.
• Communication of training material needs
• Ensure appropriate RACI for MES in all changes impacting MES (plant/process changes, automation changes, SAP/LIMS/GAP changes).
• Submit requests for new user access to the MES system
• Submit requests for new roles within the MES applications
• Respond to “how to” requests from site MES users.
• Provide assistance to large scale MES implementation projects as part of the technical team.
• Maintain technical skills and knowledge of MES constantly updating them.
• Provide expert knowledge to assist troubleshooting efforts in existing implementations.
• Provide direction and assistance to site personnel and management teams in the effective use their MES systems.
• Enable process owners with the implementation of opportunities for continuous improvement through the use of MES. E.g new reports Grids or Dashboards.
• High level understanding of manufacturing processes in order to provide useful information visualisations.
• Understand Tirlán MES standards and report non-conformance in new or existing developments.
• Comply with Tirlán change processes when recommending or implementing system modifications or enhancements.
Requirements
• High academic record to date in the following fields of study: Engineering and IT or related discipline; and expected minimum of a 2.2 honours primary degree
• Experience working with MES in a manufacturing environment is a distinct advantage
