Int' Customer Service Representative

General Summary:  Responsible for key account management.  Carries out all customer service activities such as responding to inquiries, processing orders and handling complaints in a prompt, courteous and effective manner. Other responsibilities include phone duties, processing credits, invoicing and other clerical duties as directed.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Daily correspondence with overseas distributors and Country managers
  • Order entry on SAP for specific LAPAC and/or EMEA Distributors
  • Liaise with LAPAC and EMEA  group on SAP orders and various supply chain matters
  • Will be in direct communication with Regulatory group to obtain various export/import clearance documents required for said shipments
  • Assist with the export process as needed
  • Interaction with various freight forwarders and carriers to resolve issues and complaints.
  • Should be exceptionally proficient at multitasking
  • Address customer concerns, trouble shoot errors, provide timely feedback on service failures and follow up on escalations.
     
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Strong Analytical skills and excel proficiency
  • Excellent Organizational skills
  • Fluent in a second language such as Spanish is preferred
  • SAP is a plus
         
    Education/Experience:
  • 0 - 1 years of Customer Service
  • Background/knowledge in freight forwarding
  • Strong PC skills
