The Opportunity
A vacancy has arisen for Sr. Analyst, Trade Promotion Management to help with the implementation and support of a new Trade Promotion Management (TPM) solution using SAP’s TPM product across our Performance Nutrition business. This Sr. Analyst role will sit within the Customer Engagement CoE within Glanbia Business Services.
The Sr. Analyst will partner with Glanbia Performance Nutrition’s Sales/Trade Planning stakeholders, an external Implementation Partner and our internal Glanbia Business Services Teams to help deliver a new TPM solution, new processes and an associated change management program across the GPN business. Subsequent to its rollout in North America the role would involve day-to-day operational support, capability enhancements, and continuous improvement to ensure a best-in-class TPM solution that drives maximum value for the business. The analyst will also be involved in subsequent rollouts of the TPM template across the GPN organisation. The analyst will also be involved in the emerging development of an RGM roadmap and strategy.
- Support the implementation and delivery of the initial SAP TPM solution across the GPN business with an initial North America focus.
- Following its initial go live in North America manage support incidents and enhancement requests on an ongoing basis.
- Identifying areas of improvements in process and technology, driving continuous improvement and staying abreast of industry and technology trends and best practice.
- Support enterprise wide SAP Trade Promotion Management Solution. This includes providing functional and technical guidance on SAP’s Trade Management solution.
- Act as the Business Services solution expert engaging with Business partners in sales planning and sales finance teams to build capabilities. This includes jointly defining business objectives and goals, developing business cases, evaluating current technologies, communicating new technology capabilities, without losing focus on supporting the current system.
- In time helping to develop and deliver Revenue Growth Management capabilities and an associated technical solution within the GPN business on behalf of Glanbia Business Services.
- Through expert lens of SAP’s Trade Promotions Solution, act as Glanbia Business Service Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing functional and technical guidance to the business with your strong understanding of SAP TPM.
- Establish day-to-day operational support for the TPM system that includes supplier management activities, business continuity, and overall service delivery support operations including change, incident, problem, and configuration management in partnership with the implementation partner, internal GBS IT team and business partner teams.
- Participate in System Integration and User Acceptance testing for the end-to-end TPM processes as part of initial implementation and subsequent change streams.
- Perform analysis and troubleshooting to resolve issues as and when they arise.
- Assist with operational tasks such as data validation, bulk data loads, etc.
- Coordinate with the Implementation Partner, internal GBS teams and relevant business teams to prioritize and implement changes and help to develop associated trade strategies.
- Create technical design for bug fixes and enhancements and oversee execution with Implementation partner team and or our Internal IT teams across analytics, programming, supply chain and finance CoE’s.
- Work collaboratively with business strategists, process owners and subject matter experts.
- Coordinate with architecture, technical, and our Basis teams to manage application lifecycle.
- Provide input for the SAP TPM solution road map, integrating multiple disparate processes, and addressing short / long-term organizational needs
- Acts as a disruptive change agent fluidly moving back and forth between transformation initiatives and day-to-day business as usual. Delivers right mix of operations, delivery, strategy and innovation. Listens for reflection; partners with business and functions to deliver outcomes.
- Utilize knowledge of defined reference architectures, technology trends and implementation experience to translate business requirements into a system and landscape solution blueprint that represents an end-to-end technical solution.
The Skills you will bring to the team
- Bachelor’s in a STEM or relevant business degree
- Master’s degree and/or related equivalent experience preferred
- 3 - 5 Years of trade promotion technology implementation experience, preferably within a large CPG company or consulting organization servicing CPG companies.
- 3 - 5 years of experience with SAP TPM solution having being involved in at least one and optimally multiple trade management solution rollouts
- 3 - 5 years of experience with related SAP products with emphasis on SAP CRM / TPM, SAP SD, SAP FI, SAP BW and SAC
- Integration experience of the components utilised by SAP in their TPM solution would be beneficial
- Demonstrate knowledge of and success in applying extensive understanding of the SAP TPM and BW planning solutions in a CPG business.
- Technical domain knowledge including a broad understanding and working knowledge of IT including all major functions.
- Must be up to date with SAP trends such as BW4/HANA, SAC, RGM and general industry trends and technology advancements including big data capabilities and advanced analytics.
- Multi-year experience in supporting a complex SAP landscape with architecture, design, and deployment experience of major release/project roll-out
- Strong Trade Promotion experience across a number of companies and experience in the use of trade solutions to generate ROI on trade spend and optimise processes.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, negotiation, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and produce quality results under pressure.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong team player, change agent, and advocate.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- SAP certification is a plus.
- CPG experience is a plus.
- Trade execution experience
