The opportunity where you will make an impact:

 

As our Territory Manager you will be responsible for establishing and expanding relationships with customers North and West of the City to achieve sales quotas and strategic account objectives, delivering overall sales growth. Your customers will include supplement stores, gyms, health stores and pharmacies. As an experienced Sales Representative you will act of behalf of the entire range of GPN products, including Optimum Nutrition and BSN whilst overseeing the territory ensuring assigned customers’ expectations are met and exceeded.

 

  • Partnering with new and existing clients to increase market penetration in the North and West of VIC
  • Achieving growth in the specialty supplement channel via acquisition of new business
  • Play an active part in defining commercial proposals for customers
  • Reach and exceed sales targets for GPN products and drive sales in the territory
  • Effectively manage a portfolio of state accounts ensuring revenue targets are reached and customers relationships are built
  • Maintain regular positive connections with all customers
  • Develop new business according to state growth plan and KPI’s set
  • Prepare forecasts and budgets for ongoing and new business customers
  • Attend appropriate Trade Fairs/ Expos as required to generate leads and build relationships
  • Prepare promotional and business plans for all current and opportunity tender business
  • Act as a key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions within GPN
  • Execution of marketing plans in the field
  • Manage representative athletes and ambassadors in the territory

 

What you will bring to GPN:

 

  • A track record of success in a Sales Representative position is essential
  • A passion for health and sports nutrition! 
  • Experience within the food, beverage, nutrition or FMCG sector would be advantageous 
  • Target focused with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets set
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with a strength in spotting opportunities within the market
  • Strong relationship building skills, with a track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers, especially small businesses
  • Professional communication skills with the ability to engage customers
  • Execution of marketing and promotional activities with state accounts
  • Excellent presentation skills with a confidence of presenting to audiences at all levels
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Self-starter with the capability of working alone
  • Strong work ethic – with a focus on delivering outstanding results
  • The ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Good financial acumen and ability to understand financial budgets and deliverables
  • Qualifications in Sales/Business/Marketing or similar would be beneficial
  • Good IT literacy with a knowledge of MS office
  • Experience with a CRM system would be advantageous
  • Unrestricted, Australian work rights
