An exciting opportunity has become available in Glanbia Ireland’s Ingredients Growth Category, reporting to the Head of Marketing Ingredients for an eight month fixed term contract.
The role works to bring value to the Ingredients business by building GI’s profile as a leading ingredients supplier within the agri food and nutrition sector, engaging with and being relevant to the customer base, identifying new strategic routes for the business through insight development, and marketing targeted products and initiatives in a compelling way. They also play a key role in the delivery of the business Value-add targets, working in coalition with Product and Sales Managers and the R&D function

 

 

Key Responsibilities;

  • Building our profile as a leading ingredients supplier within the agri-food and nutrition sector: Delivery of overall Communications strategy for our Plant based Ingredients to include PR, Trade Show attendance and liaison with key industry bodies. 
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Manager on development of compelling written and video content to deliver a cut through Digital strategy for the business and relevant initiatives to include owned assets, social media and advertising.
  • Building engagement and relevance with customer base: Effective customer comms strategies via E Blasts, Spotlight presentations and F2F meetings, Co-Marketing with targeted customers, Understanding our Customer’s Customer through research and insight development
  • Identifying new strategic routes for the business: Responsible for generation of leverageable customer and consumer insights which, in tandem with Product, Sales and Innovation functions will inform key strategic projects within the business. Identify new routes to market including regional partners and distributors. Coordination of business strategy, driving the annual process together with Commercial leads and Product management
  • Marketing our Products and USPs: Delivery of sales toolkits and marketing materials to support volume and contribution targets. Development of advertising and new branding/ product design
  • Work collaboratively across the Marketing & Plant Hub teams to deliver effective results and work within the GI values system

 

Key Requirements:

  • 5 years proven success in B2B/ Ingredients Marketing.  Experience in Consumer Marketing highly desirable
  • Strong business report writing and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage tasks.
  • Experience developing and executing Digital campaigns for B2B
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain good working relationships at all levels in an organisation.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Excellent commercial acumen.
  • Proven track record of analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record of working on own initiative.

Desirable:

  • In-depth understanding of the Plant based industry would be a distinct advantage.
