Glanbia Ireland owns leading consumer and agri brands such as Avonmore, Kilmeaden Cheese, Millac, Truly Grass Fed, Premier Milk, Wexford, mymilkman.ie, Glanbiaconnect.com, countrylife.ie and GAIN Animal Nutrition. 


Based in Ballyragget & reporting to the Quality Operations Manager and based in the laboratories at our Ballyragget plant.  This contract is for a period of 12 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sampling raw materials and processes
  • Co-ordinating the collection of Finished Product samples from plants
  • Testing samples from processes including Phosphatase, Peroxidase, Antibiotics, Resazurin, Added Water/TS, End of Line Defence
  • Investigative sampling & follow up
  • Environmental Sampling from processes
  • QS Compliance oversight 

Key Requirements

  • Aptitude for operational processes
  • Aptitude for Process Improvement and Lean
  • Technical  / testing skills
  • Working on own initiative
  • Data collection / trending / reporting
  • Teamwork & communication
  • A qualification in process / operational / technical discipline or equivalent experience.
