Role purpose:

As Marketing Director, you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic International business making difference in people’s lives. You will be responsible all elements of marketing from celebrity management to TV campaigns and for developing the brand proposition and strategy for the next 3 years.


Through directing the management and implementation of the marketing and creative executions for the company this position covers the full marketing mix; strategic planning, market research & analysis, full broadcast mediums, digital & print advertising, communications, viral marketing & social media and PR, plus any other activities that are required to fulfil the fast nature of the business to deliver successful results


Key result areas:

  • Lead development, delivery and execution of the Brand Marketing Strategy for UK, Ireland, China and all future international markets (excluding the Americas, which are handled by SlimFast US).
  • Analyse and monitor competitor and consumer activity to identify opportunities for growth. 
  • Development of strong branding plan which identifies and defines the current and future positioning. 
  • Deliver breakthrough Marketing Comms based on PR, Word of Mouth, Digital and Social Media
  • Drive Brand Equity and look and feel to re-invigorate the brand and attract new users.
  • Project lead the Innovation pipeline and NPD development programme.
  • Lead Consumer insight and market intelligence programmes.
  • Effective use of relevant broadcast and marketing mediums to create relevance and saliency for core target group, build on brand awareness and ensuring return on investment for activities.
  • The creation and development of the digital and social marketing strategy including analytics and user experience; eCRM; social media; search engine marketing and web management.
  • Lead the Marketing Team; 2 direct reports - maintains marketing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
  • Be a member of the SlimFast International Leadership Team.


Experience required:


  • Strong Exposure to food and/or weight management market.
  • Solid experience and knowledge of marketing and implementation of strategy.
  • 10-15 years of experience within FMCG industry.
  • Proven Leadership skills.
  • Target driven and success orientated
