Position Overview


Responsible for driving GPN business within a specified region of existing customers. Executing customized sales strategy to gain incremental growth. Work closely with Distributor Reps to ensure GPN brands remain as a Sport Nutrition leader at retail through collaboration and team effort.
 

 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for sales and profits within the sales channel assigned customer base.
  • Manage promotional and allowance budget for assigned customer base.
  • Identify business objectives, key initiatives and goals with each customer.
  • Ensure all marketing materials are available for all respective customers.
  • Execute all brand and Company initiatives.
  • Build GPN brand awareness through GPN Innovation. Increase shelf space by increasing product mix.
  • Prospect for NEW Business within the regions where sales are soft.
  • Provide GPN Education on an as needed basis.
  • Implement Strategies with intent to sustain and promote sales growth and attainment of yearly goals.
  • Coordination of cross-functional internal resources and collaboration with customers to customize, develop and/or otherwise adapt products, programs and operations to meet the diverse demands of the customers walk in traffic.
  • Develop Relationships and coordinate business with Distributor Representatives.
  • Act as a support role/function on an as needed basis.
  • Develop and nurture your customer base in order to achieve maximum sales growth by gaining trust and directing customers toward YOY growth.

 

Education Requirements:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business/BSA

     

     

    Related Work Experience:

  • Two to five years’ experience as an inside sales rep.
  • Two to five years in a Sales or Sales support role.

  • Ability to facilitate and accelerate the business relationship based upon an understanding of know thy customer.
  • Ensure attentive to listening and engaging customers plight and identify what is relevant information to grow the business.

Communication Skills:

  • Oral Communication - Effectively expresses one’s self in individual and group situations at all levels of the organizational structure.
  • Written Communication - Clearly express ideas in writing and in professional form.

Systems Knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Work, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to learn and be self-sufficient with GPN sales and financial systems
  • Proficiency with SAP reporting software or equivalent.

     

     

    Job Requirements:

     

    Develop business plans to deliver assigned targets. Identify business objectives, strategies, key initiatives based on company objectives. Create and develop plans utilizing brand initiatives, merchandising tactics, retail price package architecture to bring Company’s brand to life with consumers.
