JOB SUMMARY

 

This position is will play a key role for all financial reporting, planning, and analysis for the Operations and Commercial Centers of Excellence for Glanbia Nutritionals. Our Reporting and Analysis Manager will provide key analysis to our Global Leaders helping them drive value add decisions.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

 

  • Responsible for consolidation of monthly Operations & Commercial reporting packs and related analysis
  • Hold monthly internal performance review meetings across the GN manufacturing sites (based in the US, Germany & China)
  • Ensuring that the most relevant Operations KPI’s and related analysis are being reported up to the COO each month
  • Inspire, lead and engage a team of four analysts
  • Responsible for consolidated regional Commercial reporting on a monthly and ad hoc basis
  • Responsible for ad hoc Commercial and Operations financial analysis as required
  • Responsible for tracking and reporting of all capital expenditure across GN (>$$50m budget per year)
  • Responsible for reporting on Procurement and Understanding Losses Savings projects across GN
  • Responsible for freight reporting across GN
  • Finance Business Partner for the Centers of Excellence- HR, Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Tech Services, and Glanbia Performance System (Lean Manufacturing)
  • Collaborate with local GN Operations and Commercial Finance teams in order to drive efficiencies and standardization of processes across the organization
  • Management of the month end process timeline and also the Budget/Forecast process timeline, to ensure good communication across the various finance groups and that key deadlines are met
  • Responsible for the Variable Pay Plan process
  • Review work and test for reasonableness; identify questionable results and investigate root cause

 

ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPRIENCE

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
  • Requires a minimum of 6+ years (6-10 preferred) in financial reporting, planning, and analysis
  • Professional Accounting Accreditation preferred.
  • Experience in leading a high performing team.
  • Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to define problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
  • Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
