An opportunity currently exists in Glanbia plc for an experienced Benefits Specialist based in our offices in Ireland (Dublin Or Kilkenny)  This is a permanent opportunity and will report to the Senior Manager Reward International

Role Summary 

The Benefits Specialist will support the Senior Manager Reward International in delivering Glanbia’s Benefits Programs across the region. The purpose of the role is to manage the operational delivery of our Benefits strategy, programs and services, under guidance from the Reward & Benefits Lead, to support the achievement of Glanbia’s People and Business objectives. The role will support the delivery of key initiatives across the Benefits, Health & Wellbeing agenda to support business specific initiatives. The role will also manage and maintain key processes and provisions, research benefits topics, analyse data and provide advice and guidance to HR colleagues and People Leaders on Benefits issues.

 

Location

The base location of the role will be in Ireland in either of our office locations in Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin 24 with hybrid working arrangements available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Play a key role in the delivery of the annual benefits cycle for the region in collaboration with HR colleagues
  • Supports the development of benefits communications and training to educate HR, management and the broader employee population on benefit policies, processes and practices
  • Prepare regular and ad hoc benefits reports and analysis
  • Support global and regional benefits projects as required
  • Support HRBPs and People Leaders to leverage and promote a diverse range of benefits across the region
  • Vendor and broker management to deliver agreed benefits plans and activities
  • Promote and contribute to our Wellbeing agenda
  • Constantly look for opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of benefits delivery
  • Keeps abreast of the external environment for emerging trends, regulatory changes, best practices, and providing highlights as appropriate
  • Develop procedures to monitor, assess and improve the delivery of existing programs
  • Liaises with the People Success organization to ensure the effective delivery of benefits processes

 

Qualifications        

  • Degree in a relevant discipline e.g. HR or Finance

 

Experience                         

  • Previous experience working as a benefits professional, supporting  multiple countries in a large complex organisation
  • Experience with vendor and broker management
  • Proven record of successfully working with others to implement the benefits agenda across a region
  • Strong operational understanding of benefits policies and programs
  • A continuous improvement mind set, driven to deliver best practice
  • Excellent analytical, communications and stakeholder management skills
  • A strong teammate that can work independently as part of a Global team
  • Highly resourceful and a consistent ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented and self-driven
