Role Profile:

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join Financial Planning & Analysis team, on a temporary basis, to work within a fast paced and dynamic environment as a FP&A Analyst. As the successful applicant, you will be heavily involved financial model development providing support to business partners and the accounting team to aid decision making.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the rollout of Customer and Product Profitability systems and processes including Cost to Serve rate development and updates
  • Develop and enhance financial models in areas of product costing and material valuation
  • Preparation of annual budget and forecast updates
  • Participate in the month end close process supporting both the Finance Business Partnering & the Accounting & Reporting teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying & improving any inefficiencies in processes
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required

 

Key Requirements:

  • High degree of proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel is essential
  • Good knowledge and experience of SAP together with an ability to use and exploit data warehousing tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Effectively present information and respond to questions from stakeholders
  • Proactive, detail oriented, excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Qualified Accountant or third level degree in a relevant finance or business discipline
  • 4-5 years post qualification experience in a dynamic environment, working in FMCG environment is preferred but not essential.
