A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Transfer Pricing Manager with Glanbia plc. This is a permanent position and will report to the Glanbia plc Group Transfer Pricing Manager. This role can be based in either our Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin 24 office

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transfer Pricing specialist to join our team and support the continued growth and success of Glanbia. You will play a key role in our Group Tax team and take responsibility for not only the delivery of technical work but also knowledge sharing across the team and supporting on business development initiatives.

Key Elements of the Role:

In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the effective implementation of the Group’s transfer pricing strategies and ensuring continued adherence with transfer pricing compliance requirements in all markets in which we operate.

Responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of global transfer pricing compliance across Glanbia
  • Communicating and ensuring the successful execution of transfer pricing policies and procedures across Glanbia
  • Review and/or preparation of transfer pricing documentation reports including working with tax advisors in this regard
  • Working closely with Glanbia’s legal department to ensure that intercompany arrangements are appropriately documented by way of intercompany contractual agreements
  • Manage and/or support in the defence of tax audits and enquiries globally
  • Identify and implement opportunities to simplify, automate and improve the transfer pricing processes across Glanbia
  • Managing the transfer pricing adjustment process for year-end reporting of Group results;
  • Working closely with our business segments to ensure that appropriate transfer prices for intercompany products and services are maintained
  • Review of related party transaction returns for submission to tax authorities (e.g. CbCR)
  • Work collaboratively across numerous functions to effectively support Glanbia’s global supply expansion initiatives (e.g. new supply chain routes, incorporation and operationalisation of new trading entities)
  • General tax/transfer pricing support in Group strategic projects (e.g. international expansions, mergers and acquisitions, Group restructurings), progressing to direct responsibility for specific projects and tax planning initiatives; and
  • General tax support (on an ad hoc basis) to the wider Group Tax team to support the effective execution of our Irish, US, UK and other international tax agendas



  • Professional Qualifications – accounting and tax (ACA/ACCA and AITI) with a minimum of 5 years PQE
  • A qualification in transfer pricing (eg ITI’s Advanced Diploma in International Taxation) would be an advantage but not essential


Skills & experience

  • Senior transfer pricing experience (minimum of 3 years), ideally gained between practice and working within a global/multi-national organisation
  • Commercially astute with strong business acumen
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface at all levels within Glanbia including with divisional finance directors and commercial managers
  • Strong influencing and communication skills with the ability to articulate complex tax and transfer pricing concepts across all levels within Glanbia
  • Tax audit defence experience would be a distinct advantage
  • Ability to manage a broad remit and commitment to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Experience using SAP would be an advantage
  • Ability to work both on your own and within a team environment to deliver Group Tax Departments significant value added brief
