Residential Sales Representative
(1 Year Fix- Term Contract) 


Reporting to the Direct to Consumer Channel lead, the primary functions of this role will be to engage with the residential market to generate leads and sales for Glanbia’s direct to consumer ‘doorstep’ channel, which includes the e-commerce website, MyMilkman.ie. These roles are based in various locations across Ireland. 

 

Locations include Limerick/Claire area

Mymilkman.ie is Glanbia’s award winning E-Commerce website, which facilitates sales directly to thousands of residential households, via Glanbia’s national network of milk delivery agents  


Key Responsibilities


•    Engage with residential consumers to sign up to a ‘doorstep’ delivery service, with a range of dairy and non-dairy products – including milk, butter, cheese, and orange juice.  
•    Meet with Regional Sales Manager & milk agents on a weekly basis to help with area planning, and providing feedback.
•    Utilise Glanbia technology platforms to assist in route planning for canvassing and recording sales progress.     
•    Ensure certain KPI’s – regarding volumes, product type, and payment methods- are reached through gaining new customers for the MyMilkman.ie website  
•    Represent the company in a professional manner and adhere to the uniform code required for canvassing.
•    Monitor competition in the marketplace e.g. on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules etc.
•    Contribute to the development of the team and brand through promotional activity and team meetings.
•    Provide feedback and suggestions to the customer acquisition team.  
•    Hours of working 12pm to 9pm daily Monday to Friday

 

Key Requirements:


•    Strong communication skills, with an ability to engage and influence consumers.
•    Proven record within Sales– telesales, or in a field sales capacity - with an ability to achieve set targets. 
•    Experience in residential sales an advantage. 
•    Have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and the desire to succeed. 
•    Be a confident user of technology e.g. I-pads (training will be provided).  
•    Represent and promote Glanbia’s values and brands at all times.
•    Ability to handle objections confidently and close sale.
