Tax Manager (Transfer Pricing)


A vacancy has arisen for a Tax Manager (Transfer Pricing) with Glanbia PLC. This is a permanent position and will report to the Group Transfer Pricing Manager. This role will be based in our Kilkenny OR Citywest, Dublin office.


Role summary

In this Group Tax role, you will be responsible for supporting the effective implementation of the Group’s transfer pricing strategies and ensuring continued adherence with transfer pricing compliance requirements across the markets in which we operate.


Key elements of the role

  • Preparation of detailed transfer pricing documentation reports including working with external advisors on the preparation of benchmarking reports
  • Review and editing of TP adjustment computations for year-end reporting of Group results
  • Ensuring that intercompany arrangements are appropriately documented
  • Working closely with Glanbia business segments to ensure that appropriate transfer prices for intercompany products and services are maintained
  • Review (and/or preparation) of related party transaction returns for submission to tax authorities (e.g. CbCR, Form 5472);
  • Working closely with Glanbia business segments to identify (and resolve) tax and TP considerations for international expansion projects and/or new product supply chains
  • General tax and TP support in Group strategic planning initiatives (e.g. acquisitions, Group restructurings), progressing to direct responsibility for specific projects and tax planning initiatives and general tax support to the wider Group Tax team to support the effective execution of the Irish, US, UK and international tax agendas.

Requirements for the role



  • Qualified accountant with AITI / CTA qualification (or equivalent) and qualification in transfer pricing (e.g. ITI’s, Advanced Diploma in International Taxation) highly desirable.


Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience within Big 4, or mid-tier, professional services and/or large MNC experience gained in your career to date
  • Experienced Tax professional with applied knowledge of tax legislation and standards with particular reference to international tax functions
  • Proven experience providing transfer pricing services to a large MNC, including risk management and general advisory on practical TP solutions
  • Excellent analytical skills and a strong eye for detail
  • Excellent IT proficiency and SAP experience an advantage
  • Strong commercial and market awareness
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to write and present clear, concise reports
  • Strong commitment to professional and customer service excellence
