Brand Manager - Copenhagen

Job Purpose:  

 

Nutramino is a highly successful and rapidly growing business.  It's head office is based in Copenhagen from where we are driving the current mainly regional business in Scandinavia, UK, Ireland and a number of incubator export markets. Our ambition is to fuel the international expansion of the brand either by leveraging the existing GPN commercial route to market or by defining a separate/stand-alone route to market via wholesalers, distributors or local agents.

The Brand Manager role will drive the A-Z and of the product portfolio which involves the branding, production and profitability of new and existing Nutramino products.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive the branding of Nutramino products.
  • Work closely to lead innovation and drive the development of products that are relevant to  target audience; develop launch plan for all key new products
  • Development and implementation of communication strategy across markets leveraging learning’s from EMEA
  • Manage external & internal  agencies in the delivery of marketing tools/activities, including sampling and retail marketing activities
  • Work closely with other members in the Marketing  team in the Ireland to ensure coordination of global marketing activities
  • Working closely with the commercial team supporting sales activities
  • Ensure alignment across all teams and all assets required are available for the launch of new products
  • Manage participation at exhibitions / conferences in EMEA
  • Maintain an awareness of competitor marketing activity

 

Key Challenges & Success Measures:

  • Educate consumers to ensure they understand the difference between different sports nutrition brands
  • Work closely with sales department to align with sell-ability and customer insights
  • Management of budget
  • Identify, develop, and launch new & existing concepts and products supporting the brand portfolio.
  • Understand relevant marketplace dynamics and consumer target
  • Develop marketing plan to effectively communicate the strategic positioning and development of products to customers.

    Ability to work to stretching targets in a dynamic matrix industry.

    Work with cross functional teams to ensure brand initiatives are completed


Skills, Know How & Experience:

  • Drive to make the products successful
  • Proven Brand experience within consumer goods environment is essential.
  • Proven product management experience will be an advantage.
  • Relevant brand marketing/business qualification at degree or Masters level. 
  • Strong understanding of full marketing mix including brand positioning and developing new opportunities through consumer insight
  • Experience in agency management, strategic marketing, creative development, brand planning and new product development
  • Passion for performance/physique sports would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience of managing in complex network organisations and across boundaries.
  • Excellent communicator and influencing skills at a senior level.
  • High energy, high creativity but ability to work through the basics too.
  • Results orientated strategic thinker and creative problem solver.
  • Ability to work under own initiative.
  • Strong motivational skills and ambition.
