Essential Functions

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues; including the investigation of harassment, discrimination and other charges; manage discipline and discharge functions, and assume responsibility for the equitable application of policies across the business.
  • Point person to interact with the People Success Organization to navigate employee inquiries regarding various topics such as benefits, payroll, policies and procedures with the guidance of HR Centers of Excellence or HR Director.
  • Leads human resources programs including employee recognition programs (services awards, employee acknowledgement program, employee appreciation days, etc.).
  • Partners with employees and leaders to manage through conflict and change. Serves as a coach and advisor to people leaders. 
  • Engages with employees to build a positive and transparent environment reflective of the company’s values and purpose.
  • Partners with leadership to develop a workforce strategy by identifying capability gaps and future needs.
  • Facilitates onboarding for Downers Grove location (employee orientation) and off-boarding (exit interviews).
  • Creates and analyzes reports, utilizes data insights to make decisions that impact programs or policies.
  • Coaches leadership to ensure robust development plans are in place and succession plans are build and managed.
  • Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
  • Leads Affirmative Action Plans (AAP) for sites across the United States.
