Associate Brand Manager

BSN, a worldwide leader in cutting-edge physique and performance products, is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate brand marketer to fill the role of Associate Brand Manager Global Marketing.  In this unique position, he/she will be responsible for assisting the Sr. Brand Manager Global Marketing in the positioning, execution, management, analyses, and branding efforts of this one of kind brand. He/she will play a critical role in driving household penetration and awareness across North America, LATAM, EU, Middle East, and Asia.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with development of the 3 to 5 year global innovation strategy
  • Collaborate with regional marketing leads to flawlessly execute in market activations that are consistent with the brand’s positioning and DNA.
  • Support regional marketing teams with day to day maintenance of brand assets, including but not limited to packaging graphics updates, regulatory considerations, samples, and communication assets
  • Leverage data to create recommendations for strategic and tactical decisions regarding marketing efficiencies, pricing, product lifecycle, and distribution opportunities
  • Track and monitor brand health metrics and recommend corrective measures as appropriate
  • Maintain and disseminate global project trackers to insure global visibility of regional projects and facilitate intellectual sharing
  • Provide creative direction for photo and video shoots for use in web, in-store, and social platforms
  • Become an expert resource on BSN products
  • Tracking and management of the BSN global budget
  • Provide cross functional leadership on projects ranging from innovation development, product renovation, consumer communications, and other tasks as needed to maintain the brand

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   

  • High learning agility and intellectually curious
  • Proficiency in Excel, capable of organizing data to identify an actionable insight
  • Ability to use Power Point to convey a recommendation or story
  • Fundamental understanding of basic branding principles (positioning, DNA, consumer insights)
  • Experience reaching consumers via social media and digital mediums
  • Understanding of the stage gate process and experience guiding a product through the launch process
  • Familiarity with the sports nutrition category a plus
  • Strong oral and written communicator capable of explaining complex and/or abstract ideas in clear concise, and compelling manner
  • Creative problem solver
  • Organized project manager, capable of managing more than one project and deadline at a time
  • Capable of working in a matrix environment

 

Education/Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent experience: MBA preferred
  • Minimum Years of experience: 3
  • Specialized training in: Familiarity with Sports Nutrition a plus
