Brand Manager - Amazing Grass

The Brand Manager, Amazing Grass Protein role will lead the long term strategy for Amazing Grass’s plant protein line including commercialization of new plant protein products as well as development of annual brand plans to grow household penetration of the business. In the short term this role will have a heavy innovation focus.  Overtime this role will evolve to be a blend of brand building and general management. 

 

Reports to the Director of Brand Management, Amazing Grass. 

 

Duties & Responsibilites

  • Leads the build out of a consumer insight led innovation pipeline integrating both trends and competitive threats.
  • Directs the product development process and develops business cases to assess market potential.
  • Develops and implements annual brand plans in support of the protein line.
  • Collaborates with the insights team to conduct primary and secondary research to inform brand strategies, brand plans, and innovation pipeline.
  • Works with Insights & Analytics teams to analyze market trends and recommend changes/ optimization to marketing and product strategies.
  • Owns the development of activation plan, working with Integrated Marketing to maximize effectiveness.
  • Works to maximize profitability of assigned product groups.
  • Partners with internal/external creative team to brief and develop creative to execute against marketing plan.
  • Partners with other functional areas to quickly bring viable new products to market
  • Responsible for managing brand budget.
  • Performs day-to-day business management activities and executes other projects or activities as requested.
  • Manages volume forecast and collaborates with cross functional teams to balance supply.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to address performance vs. plan.

 

Education & Experience

 

  • Minimum of 4-6+ years of CPG relevant experience
  • OR Minimum of 2-5 years of CPG relevant experience and advanced degree (MBA)
  • Prior experience in CPG, Food & Beverage
