Brand Manager - Isopure

The Brand Manager, Isopure is responsible for leading the Isopure powder portfolio and key digital and search marketing activations to deliver against brand strategies and objectives that will fuel brand growth.

Essential Functions:

  • Leads and manages the Isopure powder product portfolio and strategy, proactively identifying key levers to positively impact the P&L to achieve consumption, revenue, volume, and margin targets
  • Manages powder portfolio renovation and innovation projects through the stage gate commercialization process that includes the following stages: scoping the idea, designing the concept, building the business case, product development with a full cross-functional team, product launch and post launch learnings
  • Leads all digital and search marketing activation strategy, planning, execution, and analysis for the Isopure brand with agency partners and internal and external creative teams
  • Manages the overall marketing budget utilizing a marketing mix model approach to ensure ATL/BTL initiatives are efficiently supported and deliver against marketing objectives and key jobs to be done
  • Partners with Innovation and R&D teams to develop long-term innovation roadmap and pipeline for the powder portfolio; identify portfolio gaps and execute white space opportunities to achieve innovation target
  • Partners with the Insights team to determine and execute research methodologies to uncover rich consumer and NPD insights to enhance the powder portfolio
  • Develops business cases as needed for platform/new product innovation including development of strategic rationale, product positioning, size of prize, and project financials
  • Collaborates with Sales and Customer Marketing teams to align, develop and execute account specific marketing activations
  • Plays key role in developing channel and product portfolio strategy with cross-functional leadership team to determine optimal routes to market across e-commerce, specialty and FDM-C channels
  • Integrates communication strategy, 360 plan, brand campaign across all touch points and elements of business
  • Proactively identifies, pursues, and prioritizes margin improvement/cost saving initiatives. Champions initiatives cross-functionally to maximize brand profit
  • Ensures alignment against set KPIs and proactively drives initiatives to achieve brand metrics

Education/Experience:

  • BA/BS Degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 6+ years marketing and brand management experience in CPG/retail/consumer focused industries.
  • E-commerce advertising and search marketing expertise required.
  • Product commercialization experience leading products from idea to launch (e.g. stage gate).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and communication skills in managing/influencing teams
  • Ability to comprehensively understand and convert consumer, category, competitor, and channel/customer insights into brand strategy/plans
  • Successful track record of identifying & developing new ways to grow brands via innovation in product, packaging, and communications
  • Effectively applies knowledge of business drivers to deliver financial objectives via P&L management, budget development and tracking, and demand/financial forecasting
  • Knowledgeable on key digital and e-commerce tactics, capabilities, and KPIs that fuel performance
  • Demonstrated ability for handling multiple projects, organization, attention to detail, accuracy
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial mind-set, highly motivated and ambitious
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Passion and knowledgeable about the sports nutrition, fitness, wellness industry is a plus
