Job Summary:

This role of the Customer Business Manager is to oversee and manage a portfolio of Health and Fitness Regional DSD’s, develop new business from existing clients and provide excellent customer service to every customer. Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, bringing our total GPN portfolio of brands to life through development of collaborative business plans that exceed customer expectations, are aligned with our brand strategies.  The goal is to ensure achievement of the sales budget while managing the margins that impact EBITA. 



  • Leads business development at key customers across regional responsibility
  • Strong driver of customer agenda - Manages and leads collaborative joint business planning with strategic goals to develop and execute key partnership initiatives, identifying category selling opportunities and deliver category based selling stories that drive brand sales
  • Develops and delivers strategic selling, assortment, promotion, pricing plans
  • Manage regional and customer P&L to organizational expectations
  • Contacts/visits customers to review and identify strategic direction, problem areas and opportunities to make recommendations that promote GPN growth
  • Develops account business plans including goals, key initiatives, major actions, key support needed, and execution of innovation
  • Develops relationships with all key decision makers, internal and external
  • Collaborates with cross-functional representatives to ensure that GPN delivers the full depth of resources that result in GPN leading share position across all channels.
  • Responsible for all aspects of customer development including opportunity identification, relationship management, broker management, customer service interface
  • Communicates customer execution elements to GPN distributor leads (DSD and wholesalers)  to ensure timely execution
  • Keeps abreast of competitive activities and communicates in timely manner
  • Manage T&E to budgeted levels

  • 5 years of minimum experience
  • Relevant CPG Sales and Customer Experience
