Job Summary

This position will oversee the talent management processes such as assessment, performance management, succession planning and leadership development. It will also focus on identifying, developing and implementing training and development programs for the organization. A large portion of the position will also be focused on employee engagement, corporate communication and diversity, equity and inclusion.

• Consults, designs and implements effective programs and processes that support talent development, which includes succession planning, employee development and training (L&D) needs.

 

• Coordinate and deliver organization & learning development programs to align with the strategic initiatives of the business.

 

• Collaborates with leadership to create a results-oriented, high performing/motivated team and fosters an environment of high accountability.

 

• Acts as corporate liaison with Group Corporate and the business unit leaders on all Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives

 

• Leads global internal communications function that includes senior leadership messaging and global town halls, values program promotion, and other education and awareness building activity that aligns to global communications calendar

 

• Leads the global engagement survey and reporting process for the business unit. Responsible for embedding best practices across the business to foster and promote employee engagement

 

• Provides support and guidance to line managers within the company with regards to development and learning initiatives, delivering an annual training plan across the organization and maintain active follow-up through on-going support and coaching.

 

• Develops and executes business strategies and HR programs that increase employee involvement, commitment, competencies, and which are consistent with organizational strategic goals and objectives.

 

• Works with chosen suppliers and the Global team to develop, design and coordinate all training and development programs.

 

• Manages contracts and the delivery of all external providers.

 

• Serves as an internal consultant on OD/org design issues and planning and provides appropriate recommendations.

8 + years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

5-7 years progressive management level experience in HR with an emphasis in organization development, training and communications.
 

Prior experience working for global companies who have experience hyper-growth preferably in CPG/manufacturing

 

 

 

 

Other Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and persuade at a senior management level
  • Proven track record in creating, overseeing and implementing successful OD and training programs
  • Proven partnership capability and proven track record of successful experience working across a complex, matrixed organization and with other business partners/CoE’s, & leaders
  • Familiarity with talent management processes
  • Experience leading Diversity, Equity and Inclusion across a group
  • Comprehensive knowledge of employee engagement including conducting engagement surveys and implementing best practices across a global organization
  • Strong operational, project management, cross functional experience
  • Able to balance competing priorities, complex situations, and tight deadlines
  • International experience; Understanding of working across different businesses and regions
  • Solid leadership experience including managing a team of professionals
  • Experience in manufacturing a plus
  • Experience with DiSC a plus or other OD/Training certifications
  • Experience guiding and implementing change activities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid leadership experience including coaching business leaders and their teams
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and calm under pressure
  • Agile and able to lead others through change
  • Certification in development/training programs a plus
