Director Customer Service & Supply Chain

General Summary: This Director role will serve as a leader and role model to drive superior customer service and customer collaboration, which will support overall Customer and Company objectives.  Will develop and implement all processes and procedures around Customer Service and Customer Supply Chain (including order management, compliance, and customer collaboration initiatives). 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Establish customer service goals and support results through best practice leadership and management principles. This includes the identification and support of service Key Drivers (behaviors) that provide customer collaboration and execution.
  • Enforce best practices in regards to customer interaction and service.  May require travel to meet with key customers. 
  • Works closely with the rest of the supply chain organization to ensure that service, cost, and cash objectives are achieved.
  • Hold teams accountable for performance while maintaining the focus on the key driver behaviors.
  • Make recommendations for organizational improvements to better support the Customer Experience.
  • Understand and react to the competitive landscape regarding all company policies, procedures and systems with a customer impact.
  • Ensures the proper documentation and analysis around DD&A occurs to ensure accurate posting to the customer’s account. 
  • Resolves any customer related issues in a timely manner.
  • Integrate Customer Service and Order Management activities for acquired businesses where appropriate.
  • Drive best practices and process improvement for all SAP and related Customer Service business processes.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Business or Supply Chain related field
  • 7+ Years of progressively responsible experience in this field or related field is required
