Job Summary

The Financial Analyst for our Healthy Lifestyle and Weight Management brands will play a support role in helping to drive the financial/operational performance of the GPN Product Supply Team. As a Financial Analyst at GPN supporting the Product Supply organization, your work will be used throughout the organization to drive improvements in cost, process improvements and understanding the company. This role will report to the Finance Supply Chain Manager of Lifestyle Brands and will perform complex finance operations tasks and monitor the day-to-day relationships between the Finance, Procurement Operations, and Supply Chain teams to ensure financial goals are being met and in compliance with required policies and procedures.

 

Description

 

• Weekly procurement KPI analysis for Co-Manufactured products.

 

• Tracking of production/purchase volumes and rates vs the Financial plan.

 

• Creation and analysis of Co-Manufacturer yield losses.

 

• Productivity/Value Engineering savings analysis for manufacturing,  procurement, R&D.

 

• Report on and monitor inventory balances.

 

• Work with the Inventory Control team to insure that the balance sheet is properly stated and that inventory risks are minimized.

 

• Capital expenditure reporting and ROI analysis.

 

• Monitor stock losses and damaged product.

 

• Freight cost reporting.

 

• Forecast and budget creation for Product Supply team OpEx and CapEx

 

• Monthly report creation and review including KPI scorecards,  project savings (manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and R&D), purchasing, procurement performance

 

• Support Productivity Improvement teams.

 

• Continuously Improve the Finance Operations team.

 

• Ad Hoc requests as needed supporting report of:

 

  • Productivity
  • Inflation
  • General Procurement/Purchasing
  • R&D

 

 Experience 

  • Intermediate or better Microsoft Excel skills 
  • Bachelor's degree with 0 - 1 year of experience
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Team player – Will be working with various functional owners at the plants and at corporate.
  • Preferred -Manufacturing plant experience
