Hourly Talent Acquisition Specialist (West)

Role Summary 

The Hourly TA Specialist is responsible for sourcing and selecting candidates that will fill hourly positions at Glanbia production facilities.

This role will carry out local sourcing to find the best candidates for operational positions that will allow Glanbia to meet production and commercial targets.

The Hourly TA Specialist will be co-located at the production facility, allowing them to collaborate with plant leadership to understand talent needs and will build strong local connections that facilitate their ability to source and attract talent.

 

Key Accountabilities

  •  Manage candidate pools and source candidates based on location, business unit and hiring manager needs, utilizing employer branding and recruitment strategies developed by the COE
  •   Manage relationship with candidate from initial contact up until new hire’s first day
  •   Conduct end-to-end recruiting activities such as creating shortlists, determining posting strategies, completing phone screens, managing offers and facilitating the background check adjudication process
  •   Work closely with hiring managers to ensure the right talent is selected for the position
  •    Manage requisitions including updating candidate status in applicant tracking system (with support from TA Admins as needed)

Qualifications and Experience

Education           Bachelor's Degree or higher

 

Professional Qualifications         

Prior Experience            

•            3+ years experience in a Recruiting or Full Lifecycle Experience closing candidates

•            3+ years experience partnering directly with hiring managers

•            Collaborate with client groups and hiring managers to understand their hiring needs and goals

•            Facilitate interview and hiring discussions with interviewers and hiring managers

•            Strong attention to detail

•            Volume (hourly or graduate) recruiting pipeline experience

•            Experience in managing multiple priorities and candidate profiles

•            Experience evaluating candidates to determine pipeline alignment

•            Experience working with distributed teams, across several locations

•            Strong written and verbal communication skills; spoken and written fluency in English required

•            Knowledge of ATS systems, preferably Success Factors

•            Strong communication skills and listening skills

•            Strong execution, and timely and thorough follow-through and follow-up of tasks

•            Must be a team player and work well with others

•            Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

•            Ability to work independently

•            Problem solving skills

•            Excellent customer service skills

•            Ability to identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies

•            Ability to maintain a strict level of confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion and sound judgement
