Position Summary:


Direct the end to end commercialization and launch of large scale new products for an assigned brand/ category to deliver within the specified time, cost and quality parameters.  The role requires directing project activities for teams of 10+ individuals through extensive influence and effective partnerships across R&D, Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and all functions within Supply Chain (Procurement, Manufacturing, Planning, Customer Service, and Logistics).




  • Direct cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of a broad, coordinated set of projects and activities to meet the revenue, volume, growth, cost out, and quality priorities within a brand/category

  • Drive the cross functional team collaboration to define the project scopes, goals, tasks, and resources requirements

  • Resolve or facilitate the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional groups

  • Develop methods to monitor project progress and provide corrective actions where necessary

  • Ensure that project scopes and timing take into consideration minimizing write offs and reducing complexity

  • Ensure that suitable risk assessment and contingency planning for key projects takes place, is communicated and agreed upon by all stakeholders and is acted on if necessary to keep the project on track or to accelerate the project if the business need exists

  • Enable best practice sharing by ensuring all projects are properly closed out and key learning’s are documented


Minimum Qualifications:


  • Five or more years of business experience including a minimum of three or more years of project management experience in the CPG industry

  • Bachelor’s degree required with a focus in science/engineering, quality, logistics, operations management, business/accounting/finance, and marketing preferred

  • Previous experience in supply chain or extensive interaction partnering with supply chain to execute projects (i.e. R&D, packaging material/equipment development, process engineering, manufacturing, quality)

  • Experience directing the end to end commercialization of new products

  • Strong technical aptitude

  • Experience in processes for managing and mitigating project risks

  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills

  • Experience holding project teams and individuals accountable for delivering results

  • MS Office proficiency including MS Project and Visio

  • Experience with SharePoint


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Project Management Certification - PMI, PMP, APM, IPMA, etc.

  • Strong coaching skills

  • Project and change management experience (discipline, organization, planning, attention to detail, and communication tools)

  • Expert team building, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills

  • Expert in stage gate/innovation governance process

  • Experience developing training materials and conducting trainings

  • Experience with developing and maintaining SharePoint team sites

  • Experience with implementing business process optimization
