Job Summary:

Provide scientific leadership to GPN on nutrition and exercise science, and collaborate on teams that will include, but are not limited to, nutrition, legal, regulatory, quality, product development, innovation, marketing and sales.

 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and deliver product-specific messaging for targeted customer audiences and nutrition focused organizations.
  • Develop and provide general nutrition education and training materials.
  • Provide day-to-day nutrition support for overall businesses including consumer questions and copy review.
  • Effectively communicate across technical and non-technical audiences internally and externally.
  • Review and summarize technical information for business partners including independent research studies and supplier data.
  • Write and edit articles, press releases, white papers, and other technical to supports business initiatives.
  • Keep abreast of emerging science and policies in the nutrition environment and identify nutrition-related business opportunities globally.

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:   

  • Will have strong interpersonal and presentation skills, ability to work in a team environment as well as independently, and have the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem solving, written and organizational skills with the ability to manage complex scientific information.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and MS Office programs.

 

Decision Making/ Problem Solving:

  •  Assist marketing and sales in crafting product claims and positioning to ensure communication is scientifically accurate and within GPN guardrails.
  • Provide regulatory department with scientific substantiation for safety and product registration needs.
  • Craft responses for consumer affairs department for consumer and medical professional inquiries.                                  

               

Education/Experience:

  • BS (0-3 years of experience) in Nutrition or a related field is required.
  •  Registered Dietician required.
