Senior Talent Acquisition Partner

The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for leading the recruitment efforts within the US.  This individual will partner with leaders across a diverse set of teams to develop and execute hiring and pipelining strategies to identify talent.  The Senior Talent Acquisition Partner will support multiple locations including GPN headquarters in Downers Grove, IL. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive labor strategy for R&D, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, Supply Chain within the US which includes contingent workers and full-time GPN employees
  • This role would also support the ongoing strategy around hiring for skilled labor positions in our Manufacturing Facilities
  • Partner with hiring managers and HR to facilitate the entire recruitment process, from opening a search through offer extension
  • Manage hiring manager and HR partnerships by communicating clearly and often to provide status updates, manage expectations, and solve roadblocks as they arise
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders (i.e., HR Business Partners and hiring teams) to ensure alignment on the specifications of each role and the requirements of each interview process
  • Develop a deep understanding of the strategy, objectives, processes, culture, and skill needs of the hiring teams; use this knowledge to help create effective job descriptions, craft recruitment strategies, and communicate with candidates
  • Identify candidates through creative sourcing techniques, screen, and qualify candidates for highly technical positions and have the ability to speak in technical terms
  • Proactively and continuously source, develop, and maintain an effective pipeline and network of diverse talent for future and/or unexpected hiring needs
  • Identify candidates through a variety of methods and tools, including the company career site, social media, Internet job boards, associations, and other avenues as seen fit (i.e., digital, social media, events), building a consistent pipeline of talent for high priority and hard-to-fill positions
  • Regularly manage pipeline activity, maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
  • Provide an efficient, high-touch experience for every candidate from application to offer, acting as a candidate advocate, evaluating skill level, and driving the interview and offer processes
  • Provide recruitment counsel and guidance to hiring managers regarding market employment trends, compensation, skills/attributes, target companies, recruitment strategies, interviewing/assessments, and sourcing tactics
  • Communicate effectively with the interview team to ensure efficient preparation prior to and during the interview process
  • Screen candidates to evaluate their skills and understand their motivators
  • Recommend, negotiate, and close offers, selling GPN’s compensation philosophy, culture, unique impact of their role, and what differentiates us from competitors
  • Build employee value proposition by leveraging social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.
  • Serve as a GPN ambassador, delivering a compelling view of our employment value proposition, as well as a uniquely memorable candidate experience
  • Maintain clear and consistent records in our applicant tracking system; utilize attention to detail and process rigor to ensure reporting accuracy
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager to develop and implement college recruiting program; help recruit for the internship program

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 5-7 years of recruiting experience required
  • Strong sourcing capability and the ability to partner with HR and hiring managers to identify staffing requirements and translate into successful hiring
  • Reputation for being exceptional at candidate and client engagement, strong communication skills, and ability to push back when necessary
  • Creativity in problem-solving and resourcefulness across all stages of the hiring cycle
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced environment and to think creatively about sourcing methods
  • Excellent candidate relationship management skills
  • Highly collaborative, responsive, and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn new process, techniques, and technologies
  • Strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

  • Experience supporting multiple sites
  • Experience using SAP and Success Factors
