Glanbia have embarked on an exciting Global HR transformation program and we have started our journey to create a future ready and truly people centered HR organisation globally.


We have a requirement for an experienced and dynamic HR Service Delivery Global Owner who will be responsible for leading out on the vision, strategy and organizational governance to support the implementation of a multi-location based HR Operations Centre.  This is a strategic role with accountability to optimize Service Delivery at an enterprise level.


This is a contract position  - the expected project delivery date is December 2022.  For now this role is remote (due to Covid 19), but will be based primarily in our Chicago Office.




  • Define the vision, strategy and organisational governance to support the implementation of a multi-location based HR Operations Centre.​
  • Assess and manage the Process, People and Policy implications for the organisation to support the establishment of a HR Operations Centre.​
  • Lead out a multi-national team to establish new footprint for HR Operations Centre in EMEA and North America.​
  • Work closely with our implementation partner from initiation through to execution on Service Delivery.​
  • Work in collaboration with our implementation partner to develop the design of the Service Delivery plan.​
  • Develop a Service Transition Plan and manages the work stream in accordance with that plan.​
  • Facilitate workshops and work collaboratively to effectively manage and influence key senior stakeholders across our organization to identify and map out end-to-end processes suitable for migration to a HR Operations Centre.​
  • Manage internal relationships with senior stakeholders to identify process areas for consolidation to the HR Operations Centre.  ​
  • Responsible for defining and implementing a consistent process methodology.​
  • Plan and execute the set-up of a HR Operations Centre in region(s) as appropriate.​
  • Direct responsibility for leading the migration of work into HR Operations Centre.​
  • Manage the status reports in partnership with the implementation partner, as part of deployment operational readiness activity.​
  • Provide input into the handover requirements for the service.​
  • Collaborate on technology solutions (SAP Success Factors) to enable HR service delivery to drive efficiency and improve the experience of our employees.​
  • Support the knowledge transfer process from our implementation partner to the HR Operations Centre.​
  • Ensure that all relevant resources are available, trained and suitably skilled to receive knowledge transfer and ensure stability of business continuity. ​
  • Responsible for the completion of Service Operations material to ensure a seamless transition of responsibilities to a HR Operations centered model of delivery e.g. operational handbooks, FAQs, etc.


Experience & Qualifications


  • Previous experience in the establishment of a global HR Operations Centre across multiple locations.​
  • Previous experience in a management role in a global HR Operations Centre environment.​
  • Proven ability to influence and appropriately challenge leadership teams, project teams and HR operational teams to bring clarity to issues and solutions.​
     Strategic thinker and planner - able to think ahead and anticipate problems, issues and solutions.​
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to negotiate and influence effectively with all levels of the organization including key senior stakeholders​
  • Works effectively with others and contributes to an environment that promotes effective teamwork and strong collaboration.​
  • Proven commercial awareness.​
  • Extensive experience of Continuous Excellence practices, methodologies and tools.​
  • Keen awareness of HR lifecycle and associated processes and policies.​
