The opportunity where you will make an impact:

We have a clearly laid down strategic plan that supports our ambition to grow our revenues by 4x across the region of South Asia, Middle East, Africa & Turkey. With this growth rate comes significant and rapid change, both structurally and system capability. The incumbent must be able to effectively lead in such an environment of scale-up and pace of change.

As part of this role, the Key Account Manager – Specialty & Pharmacy Channel, needs to lead the Route to Market expansion strategy for the business and work closely with our National Distribution Partners for on-ground execution. This role requires strong leadership skills along with the ability to Inspire, motivate and influence the entire sales and distribution organization of the National Distributor. The role will also require close collaboration with key internal Stakeholders across functions like Marketing, Supply Chain & Finance. The candidate needs to have a sound understanding of managing Trade Spends & deliver business profitability for the channel while staying focused on growth objectives.

  • Deliver the Annual Topline in line with company objectives
  • Deliver the growth ambition along with category share as part of Business KPIs 
  • Drive the distributor S&OP and work with the distributor sales team to deliver the Annual Operative Plans and Performance Scorecard
  • Drive Business Profitability for the National distributor and ensure a healthy ROI
  • Lead the Route – To – Market expansion in Middle East & Turkey in Specialty & Pharmacy Channel
  • Focus on ROI of trade spends to deliver channel profitability
  • Plan and Execute Trade Marketing Inputs (Trade Promotions) to drive Customer Loyalty
  • Partner closely with Finance and SC team on demand forecasting to enable better serviceability in trade and drive overall operational efficiency
  • Prepare and present the monthly performance as part of the MBR (Monthly Business Review) to Regional Leadership Team

 

What you will bring to GPN:

  • 8 years’+ experience in a lead sales role preferably within CPG categories. MBA preferred.
  • Experience of working in a high growth and fast-paced organization
  • Persistent and resilient in the pursuit of objectives, willing to take new challenges
  • Ability to work with ambiguity and in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills with retailers and distributors
  • Effective influencing, negotiating and relationship building skills together with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Numbers and data savvy with experience of sales automation to monitor business performance
