Glanbia plc is currently seeking to recruit a Tax Manager (Transfer Pricing). This is a permanent position reporting to the Glanbia plc Group Transfer Pricing Manager.

The base location of the roles will be in Ireland in either of our office locations in Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin 24 with  hybrid working arrangements available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.



The Tax Manager, Transfer Pricing, will be responsible for supporting the effective implementation of the Group’s transfer pricing strategies and ensuring continued adherence with transfer pricing compliance requirements in all markets in which we operate


Responsibilities to include

  • Communicating and ensuring the successful execution of transfer pricing policies and procedures across Glanbia’s contract services model
  • Preparation of transfer pricing documentation reports including working with tax advisors in this regard
  • Prepare and/or work closely with Glanbia’s legal department to ensure that intercompany arrangements are appropriately documented by way of intercompany contractual agreements
  • Assistance with tax audits and enquiries globally
  • Identify and support the implementation of new opportunities to simplify, automate and improve the transfer pricing processes across Glanbia
  • Review and/or assist with the preparation of transfer pricing adjustments for statutory and Group reporting purposes
  • Working closely with our business colleagues to ensure that appropriate transfer prices for intercompany products and services are maintained
  • Preparation of related party transaction returns for submission to tax authorities (e.g. CbCR, Form 5472, T106)
  • Support the Group Transfer Pricing Manager and business colleagues on implementation of Glanbia’s global supply expansion initiatives (e.g. new supply chain routes, incorporation and operationalisation of new trading entities)
  • General ad-hoc tax/transfer pricing support in Group strategic projects (e.g. international expansions, mergers and acquisitions, Group restructurings); and
  • General tax support (on an ad hoc basis) to the wider Group Tax team to support the effective execution of our Irish, US, UK and other international tax agendas.



  • Professional qualification in both Accounting and Tax (i.e. ACA/ACCA and AITI),  with current membership of relevant recognised bodies.
  • A qualified in transfer pricing e.g. ITI’s Advanced Diploma in International Taxation would be an advantage


Skills & Experience

  • Corporate tax experience within a multinational group or advisory firm is essential. 
  • Prior experience working in the field of transfer pricing within a multinational group or advisory firm would be an advantage, though not essential
  • Commercially astute with strong business acumen
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Experience with SAP would be an advantage
  • Ability to manage a broad remit and commitment to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work both on your own initiative and within a team environment to deliver Group Tax’s significant value added brief
