The opportunity where you will make an impact:

We are looking for an experienced finance professional who is passionate about the sports nutrition industry and also able to effectively lead within this scale and pace of change/business growth.

The FP&A manager will be responsible for the preparation of the GPN monthly management pack and liaising with the regional finance teams to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of our monthly management packs. The appointed person will lead out the forecast and planning processes across the GPN businesses and take responsibility for communicating with the regional finance teams in managing these processes. They will assist the Director of FP&A with reporting requirements for external market announcements and in the provision of key financial analysis to the CFO / CEO and wider Glanbia Group to assist in decision making for GPN.

 

  • Responsibility for preparation and review of Global GPN monthly management pack including reconciliation of regional financials, liaising with regional finance teams on key deliverables, review and understanding of monthly submissions, provide commentary on movements versus prior year and forecast.
  • Ownership of the GPN Budget and forecast processes including consolidation of financials with comparators and explanations of volume, product/customer mix and rate variances to prior year and budget and explaining key drivers / movements / assumptions.
  • Develop and improve reporting and forecasting systems and tools on an on-going basis including regional templates for consolidation of forecast and budget process.
  • Assist in the ongoing development of the Global FP&A function within the wider finance function and its support of key stakeholders.
  • Liaise with the regional finance teams (US Sports nutrition, International and Lifestyle) and Group finance colleagues to ensure that all global divisional and Group requirements are met.
  • Assist the Director of FP&A as required and participate in various projects where relevant including support to the CFO, executive teams, investors relations and Group teams including but not limited to sales, product supply and cost analysis.
  • Financial modelling and analysis as required.


What you will bring to GPN:

  • Minimum 4+ years’ PQE experience in a similar role and multinational environment. Must have FP&A experience.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills.
  • Self-starter, who has the ability to work within a team and across geographical boundaries (able to manage workload across various timezones).
  • Advanced level MS Excel and PowerPoint and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and Business Objects.
  • Detailed financial modelling experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical, good judgement making and logical decision maker.
  • Results driven, must be able to work under pressure across a global organisation engaging with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in managing, motivating and influencing in an environment of rapidly changing workload, tight deadlines in the context of high client expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator.
  • Extremely organised.
