This growth will come from a mix of organic sales growth and expansion of market presence within specific geographies and acquisition including the recently announced acquisition of Slimfast. With this growth rate comes significant and rapid change, both organizationally and strategically. 

 

In order to support this growth, we are now seeking a talented and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global team, based in Citywest, Dublin 24. Ideally possessing a passion for sports and healthy living, this role will have responsibility across forecasting, analysis and commercial support for the Global GPN FP&A team.

 

Responsibilities

  • Preparation and ownership of the Global GPN monthly management pack including reconciliation of regional financials, liaising with regional finance teams, review and understanding of monthly submissions and commercial aspects of the business, challenge regional teams on monthly packs and provide summary commentary on movements versus prior year and  forecast.
  • Management of the budget and forecast processes including  global roll up of regional financials with comparators and explanations of volume, product/customer mix and rate variances to prior year and budget. Ensure regional submissions are accurate and challenge inputs from regional teams. Preparation of summary financial presentations for the CFO, executive teams and the Glanbia Board explaining key drivers, movements, assumptions and key performance indicators.
  • Liaise and develop key relationships with the regional finance teams (US, EMEA and LAPAC) and Group finance colleagues to ensure that all GPN and Group requirements are met.
  • Provide support to the head of investor relations on GPN related analysis required for quarterly results announcements to the market.
  • Business partnering with the GPN Chief Marketing Officer on marketing spend analysis including monthly regional brand analysis, effectiveness of spend, innovation performance metrics and other ad hoc analysis as and when required.
  • Proactively initiate the development and improvement of reporting and forecasting systems and tools on an on-going basis including regional templates for consolidation of forecast and budget process.
  • Enhance the on-going development of the Global FP&A function within the wider finance function and its support of key stakeholders.
  • Participate in various projects where relevant including support to the CFO, executive teams and Group teams including but not limited to sales, product supply and cost analysis, capital investment decisions and analysis of KPIs
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support key business decisions.
  • Financial modelling and analysis as required.

Skills, Know How and experience

  • Minimum 3+ years’ PQE experience in a similar role and multinational environment (FP&A experience a plus).
  • Strong influencing and communication skills.
  • Self-starter, who has the ability to work within a team and across geographical boundaries (able to manage workload across various timezones).
  • Advanced level MS Excel and PowerPoint and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP and Business Objects.
  • Detailed financial modelling experience.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and logical decision maker.
  • Results driven, must be able to work under pressure across a global organisation. Experience in managing, motivating and influencing in an environment of rapidly changing workload, tight deadlines in the context of high client expectations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator with the ability to deal with and manage multiple stakeholders across the business
