An opportunity currently exists in Glanbia plc for an experienced Total Reward Specialist, International. This is a 12 months fixed term contract opportunity for the provision of cover during maternity leave and will report to the Senior Manager, Total Reward International
Location
The base location of the role will be in Ireland in either of our office locations in Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin 24 with hybrid working arrangements available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.
Role Summary
The Total Reward Specialist International will support the Senior Manager, Total Reward International in delivering Glanbia’s Reward & Benefit Programs across the region. The purpose of the role is to manage the operational delivery of our Reward & Benefit strategy, programmes and services, under guidance from the Senior Manager, to support the achievement of Glanbia’s People and Business objectives. The role will support the delivery of key initiatives such as the annual reward cycle, market benchmarking, job evaluation and the wider benefits and wellbeing agenda to support business specific initiatives. The role will also manage and maintain key processes and provisions, research reward topics, analyse data and provide advice and guidance to HR colleagues and People Leaders on Reward issues.
Key Accountabilities
- Play a key role in the delivery of the annual reward (salary review and STIP awards) and benefits cycle for the region in collaboration with HR colleagues
- Provide an independent and responsive job evaluation and benchmarking service to HRBPs within agreed time and quality standards
- Supports the development of benefits communication and training to educate HR, management and the boarder employee population on benefit policies, processes and parties
- Perform all reward benchmarking activities (including salary survey review, market analysis & pay positioning) to agreed quality standards
- Support the development of regional salary structures
- Vendor and broker management to deliver agreed benefits plans and activities
- Promote and contribute to our wellbeing agenda
- Input into the annual compensation survey submission process, obtain insights and monitor market trends to deliver data driven insights and recommendation
- Support the delivery of financial and non-financial Recognition schemes
- Prepare regular and ad hoc Reward reports and analysis
- Support global and regional reward and benefits projects as required
- Support HRBPs and People Leaders to leverage reward solutions and to promote a diverse range of benefits across the region
- Work with external providers, as appropriate, to deliver agreed Reward plans and activities
- Constantly look for opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Reward delivery
- Develop procedures to monitor, assess and improve the delivery of existing programs
- Liaises with the People Success organization to ensure the effective delivery of Reward processes
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant discipline e.g. HR or Finance
Experience
- Previous experience working as a reward and benefits professional, supporting multiple countries in a large complex organisation
- Experience of Performance Management
- Proven record of successfully working with others to implement the reward and benefits agenda across a region
- Strong understanding of Reward and benefits policies and programs
- A continuous improvement mind set, driven to deliver best practice
- Experience with vendor and broker management
- Experience of Job Evaluation methodologies (e.g. WTW GGS)
- Ability to complete and interpret Reward and Benefit Surveys
- Excellent analytical, communications and stakeholder management skills
- A strong teammate that can work independently as part of a Global team
- Highly resourceful and a consistent ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Detail oriented and self-driven

- Knowledge of compensation benchmarking platforms

- Experience in manufacturing/food industry preferred
- SuccessFactors experience a plus
