Senior Videographer

 

Due to continued success and growth, a vacancy has arisen for a Videographer at Glanbia Digital based in Citywest, Dublin. This is a permanent position and will report to the Creative Director.

While likely to be initially working remotely due to current restrictions, the base location of the role will be Citywest, Dublin 24, upon return to the workplace with a blended working arrangement available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.

 

 

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Videographer to join our growing team of successful Digital Marketing innovators. Glanbia Digital+ act as an agency that sits at the center of Glanbia offering digital marketing services including digital strategy, advertising, web & app development, creative design and UX. 

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading video and motion projects across all parts of the business. Working on brands such as, Optimum Nutrition, BSN, Nutramino, Avonmore, Kilmeaden and Gain. We are looking for someone with a passion for video and strong motion capabilities to join and become a key member of the creative team.

 

Key Elements of the Role

 

  • Direct, plan, create, and edit engaging and impactful videos to meet client briefs. Including concept, storyboard, script, and hands-on production: direct, light, shoot, record audio for both short form and long form videos.
  • Manage and prioritise multiple video projects and be able to shift attention from one task to another when needed and meet deliverable deadlines.
  • Work with the Creative Director and wider creative team to produce content that makes a difference at Glanbia.
  • Operate DSLR cameras, audio devices, Movi rigs and lighting equipment.
  • Create original, compelling content using motion graphics and animations in Adobe After Effects. You’ll will be highly experienced in motion graphics and be capable of creating motion only content when needed. Other animation experience would be desirable.
  • Comfortable working directly with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Brainstorm creative and engage with the rest of our Digital+ team to ensure our video work is on brand and stands out in all campaigns.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise or enhance existing video content based on current marketing trends. Stay up to date on digital video trends, equipment, and best practices.
  • Requirement to travel from time to time when needed with most of the travel based in Ireland.

 

 

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • Qualified to Degree or Diploma level or relevant experiance

 

Skills & Experience

  • 7+  years’ experience in-house, freelance or in an agency environment
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative CC with expertise in Premiere, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to inspire the Digital team to give their best
  • Strong understanding of creating video for social media & YouTube
  • Previous experience using Canon 1DX, Canon Red, Movi Rig and other relevant hardware preferred
  • Focused on and driven to provide the highest quality creative
  • Creative and effective problem solving skills
  • Commitment to provide a high quality and professional service
  • Ability to lead & direct a video project team and take responsibility for the completion of tasks
  • Ability to prioritise work tasks and remain calm under pressure  
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience in general graphic design desirable
  • Strong editing skills with in depth knowledge of adobe premiere and after effects
  • A portfolio that demonstrates all of the above
  • A full driving license
