Shared Services Process Analyst

 

A vacancy has arisen for a Shared Services Process Analyst in Glanbia Business Services. This is a permanent position which will report to the AP Manager.

The role will be working remote until further notice due to current restrictions and upon return to the office the role can be based in Waterford / Kilkenny.

 

 

Overview

The Shared Services Process Analyst will work as part of the Procure To Pay (P2P) team, and is a key role with a focus to help build better, more efficient processes, along with the planning, integration, coordination & management of our electronic process in a high volume and fast-paced environment. This role will be suitable for a candidate with demonstrated experience in driving continuous improvement

Key deliverables of the role

This role will be part of the P2P team in the SSC, and will require the flexibility to support the various teams within this function.

    • Support the End-End Ariba electronic process (Ariba P2O, SAP, Ariba Buyer & Supplier Portals)
    • Ownership of the escalation process, including liaising with relevant Stakeholders (AP, Procurement, GBS IT, VAT, Supplier & Ariba where applicable)
    • Manage the day-day co-ordination with relevant Business Partners
    • Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the supplier communications and training documentation
    • Key contributor to the enhancements process and change requests
    • Ownership of the Ariba technical enablement process
    • Ownership of Catalogue Management
    • Work closely with Key Stakeholders on Technical Issue resolution
    • Prepare & provide detailed Reporting, Performance Metrics & Leadership updates
    • Work closely with local procurement groups to identify opportunities
    • Identify and root cause technical & process issues with the system, & provide education to relevant parties both internal & external to the SSC
    • Resolve complex Supplier Enablement Configuration
    • Conduct Enablement meetings with Ariba, Procurement and AP teams
    • Co-ordination of the end-end Ariba stream, including but not exclusive to supplier on-boarding, supplier support and invoicing

 

 

Requirements

 

Qualifications                                                                    

  • 5+ years’ experience in P2P or Finance function
  • 3rd Level degree essential
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience with Ariba and SAP, or with another electronic procurement platform and equivalent ERP system to SAP

 

 

Experience and Skills

 

  • Experience leading projects in a shared service centre an advantage, ideally in the P2P space.
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills.  Ability to handle complexity and utilize analytical skills, with attention to detail
  • Strong practical experience & strong understanding of P2P or Finance processes and operational experience
  • Understand standard reports and take appropriate action based on the information
  • Prioritize and complete key tasks through attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a strong process compliance oriented mind-set and help to build a strong process compliance culture
  • Ability to both actively listen and effectively communicate
  • Experience of working in a global team environment, and communicate effectively with both internal business partners of all levels as well as external stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle large data with an excellent degree of accuracy
