With the recent launch of our Truly Grass Fed natural dairy brand in the US, we are now looking to add to our team in this focus region. An exciting opportunity has arisen within  Glanbia Ireland’s US entity for 2 Regional Development Managers based on the East and West Coast US.

 

These are pivotal new roles within the business as Glanbia Ireland seeks to extend its international footprint across consumer brands. The role will be key in assisting Glanbia Ireland to establish its consumer portfolio in the US market and to form a productive and collaborative relationship with Glanbia Ireland’s distributor and brokers on the ground. This position will set the tone for an extending team in the region.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with distributors, brokers and retailers to launch Glanbia Ireland’s new Dairy brand into the US
  • Design & implement strategies across retail channels to grow distribution.
  • Work with the distributors/brokers in the development of annual plan/budget by customer/by SKU. This includes: Quantity by SKU, ad or promotional target periods with volume and price objectives, special programs or marketing strategies.
  • Act as a key liaison between Glanbia Ireland and its priority customers.
  • Communicate emerging market needs and requirements for product development.
  • Execute successful and profitable new product launches. Track monthly and quarterly volumes vs. budget for the Region.
  • Accurately forecast demand for region.
  • Prepare and deliver distributor/brokers’ business reviews quarterly.
  • Work closely with the Chicago based team to inform and advise on development of strategy for the region and ad hoc projects.
  • Represent Glanbia Ireland at annual tradeshows, including occasionally at weekends

 

Role Requirements

  • Minimum third level qualification in business or marketing
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a commercial role in the CPG industry.
  • Startup attitude
  • A proven ability to recognize opportunities for business expansion within key-customers of Glanbia Ireland.
  • Ability to create reports and metrics to track results and prepare and deliver executive presentations.
  • Ability and confidence to interact with senior management across a variety of functions and organisations.
  • Results oriented and KPI driven.
  • Motivated and driven to progress.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Position requires up to 60% travel.
