This position is part of the Glanbia Nutritionals Operations Finance team for the Gooding plant.  Our team is responsible for operational performance reporting, cost reporting, planning and analysis for manufacturing plants in Idaho and New Mexico.   

• Demonstrate a firm understanding of accounting principles and standards in daily work.
• Provide ad hoc reporting, analysis and trend information as requested.
• Review work and assess for reasonableness; identify significant variances and carry out initial investigations.
• Prepare and report on weekly/monthly reporting and analysis for costs and key performance indicators for Transportation department, EHS, and other areas as assigned.
• Review weekly and monthly general ledger cost areas, prepare correcting journal entries as necessary.
• Calculate and issue ingredients, packaging, cleaners, and miscellaneous usage on a daily/weekly basis. Prepare variance analysis to leadership on weekly and monthly basis.   
• Identify opportunities and recommend process improvements/standardization; manage projects as assigned
• Assist with plant annual planning processes; including preparation of variance analysis, explanations and presentations
• Assist with standardization of reporting and analysis across manufacturing locations
• Assist with processing milk purchases and reconciliations as required. 
• Support front desk as needed, including switchboard operator, greeting visitors, and distributing mail.
• Collaborate with finance and operations teams across Idaho

• Perform ad hoc reporting, analysis and trending as required
• Participates in special projects or action teams

• May be exposed to moderate noise levels (i.e. office equipment and light traffic).
