Where Ambition Meets Nutrition – Data Analysis (part of the CoE for Business Intelligence and Data Analytics)

Glanbia is offering excellent career opportunities to high-performing graduates to join our team.  Here, you’ll be involved with:                                                                                                               

  • Development of a variety of analytical solutions (visualisation, statistical, predictive) to drive insight across multiple functions in Glanbia
  • Maintaining, managing and enhancing the operations of existing analytics solutions
  • Providing data analysis service to the Glanbia business to identify insight in their business data and provide recommendation for action
  • Working with Data Engineers to ensure robust data pipelines are in place to optimise the operations of the analytics applications built by the team
  • Being part of multi-disciplinary teams focused on resolving real business issues
  • Research and Development in emerging technologies and data science concepts and identifying how these would be relevant to Glanbia
  • Working in a fast-paced, innovative environment where the focus is on continuous improvement and the challenge to make it better.

  • High academic record to date in a related course (e.g. Data Science, Data Analytics, Applied Maths) and expected minimum of a 2.1 honours degree
  • Strong interest in IT and furthering professional development in the field
  • Record of high achievement and delivery
  • Strong problem solving skills and knowledge of business processes
  • Proven self-starter with the drive and desire to succeed
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
