The role
An opportunity has arisen for a Business Intelligence Analyst (SAP BW / BO/ SAC) to join Glanbia’s Centre of Excellence for Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. This a permanent role and will report to a senior BI Analyst within the CoE for BI and Data Analytics. The ideal candidate will be a self-directed SAP BI professional who enjoys developing impactful reporting solutions and is excited by the prospect of working with our best-in-class BI reporting technologies.

Location
The base location of the roles will be in either or Kilkenny OR Citywest, Dublin 24 office, with  hybrid working arrangements available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.

Key elements of the role
•    Support Senior BI analysts in the delivery of a full and complex programme of reporting solutions 
•    Liaise with the business team to gather requirements for reporting and work closely with others in the BI CoE team (Technical Architect, Solution Architect, Senior Analysts) to build out on those requirements and deliver impactful BI solutions 
•    Leverage SAP BO and SAC technologies to develop rich, interactive, visually striking graphics and data visualizations using large amounts of data 
•    Develop deep expertise in Glanbia data
•    Promote a data culture within the organization - advocate and implement data education and literacy 
•    Provide support to the development of training materials and training activities related to the BI tools and applications 
•    Develop ad-hoc reporting and provide analytics services to support business decision-making processes 

•    Help define or revise business and project KPIs, and create supporting reporting and dashboards where needed 

Qualifications
•    Primary degree in IT (Computer Science or Data Analytics), Engineering or Business 

Experience
•    3+ years of prior experience developing SAP BW / BO / SAC reporting solutions. Other front-end reporting (Power BI) also relevant.
•    Experience in designing and delivering high quality data visuals.
•    Ability to demonstrate expertise in SAP BW, SAP BO (specifically Analysis for Excel) and / or SAP SAC
•    Experience writing up technical process documentation
•    Proven ability to partner across numerous functional areas to deliver business intelligence capabilities
•    Programming skills: SQL, JavaScript, Python and R an advantage.  
•    SAP Analytics Application Design or Lumira an advantage. 
•    S4 HANA Reporting an advantage

Skills & Competencies 
•    Able to take complex processes and document into understandable technical design artefacts 
•    Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners and stakeholders to drive collaboration and alignment 
•    Able to represent and quantify business value provided by BI solutions across the enterprise.
•    Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively 
•    Experience with data modeling techniques and tools a plus
