SAP FICO Senior Business Analyst

 

An opportunity has arisen for a SAP FICO Senior Business Analyst with Glanbia plc.  This is a permanent position based in our Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin office and will report to the Finance Systems COE Lead.

 

 

While likely to be initially working remotely due to current restrictions, the base location of the role will be Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin, upon return to the workplace with a blended working arrangement available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.

 

 

Key Elements of the Role

•    Participate in relevant implementations and continuous improvement initiatives, including design, configuration, testing and implementation.
•    Provide SAP expert knowledge in the functional areas of Finance and Controlling to respond to business requirements, and position potential solutions.
•    Develop relationships with Business Key Users to drive the effectiveness of the SAP solution.
•    Acquire knowledge of emerging functionality / solutions, and contribute to their successful implementation within the businesses where appropriate.
•    Assist with the resolution of complex application support and maintenance issues where relevant.

 

What background and experience are we looking for?

•    At least six year’s SAP implementation and configuration experience – must have participated in at least one full implementation in the role of SAP FICO configuration consultant. 
•    Ideally a Qualified Accountant with relevant Finance process knowledge & experience.
•    Ideally SAP experienced in FICO module on version ECC 6.0.
•    Strong cross-functional SAP knowledge

•    Experience & knowledge of the S4 Hana and how it applies to the finance domain is desirable but not essential

•    Experience with SAP Payments & the SAP Treasury Risk Management, while not essential would be an advantage.
•    Basic ABAP coding knowledge, while not essential would be an advantage.

 

Skills & experience

•    Experience in addressing key business issues with IT solutions.
•    Ability to display a high degree of professionalism in dealing with business managers and users.
•    Commercially focused, high levels of enthusiasm and energy.
•    Flexibility to undertake international travel where required
