SAP Production Planning Analyst

 

An opportunity has arisen for a SAP Production Planning Analyst with Glanbia plc.  This is a full time position based in our Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin office and will report to the Manufacturing Operations Senior Business Analyst.

 

Overview

 

The SAP Production Planning Analyst is a key role within Glanbia’s Manufacturing & Operations Centre of Excellence. Working on global projects, creating and enabling new business practices or developing new technology platforms to support our business.

 

Key Elements of the Role

 

  • Providing SAP knowledge in the functional area of Material and Production Planning and Execution in response to business requirements and to contribute pro-actively to continuous improvement of Glanbia’s SAP implementations.
  • Participating in SAP cross functional implementation projects and continuous improvement initiatives including design, configuration, testing and implementation;
    • Definition of SAP PP scope, based on workshops with business representatives and knowledge of existing core model.
    • Definition of SAP PP blueprint and securing sign-off by relevant process representatives from the business.
    • SAP PP build activities including configuration, investigation of enhancement points and definition of technical programming specifications etc.
    • Cut-over planning and execution for the PP area and providing initial hyper care post-live support.
    • Hand-over of SAP PP design to application support team post project.
  • Coordinate change and ensure compliance with internal change management processes.
  • Provide assistance to the Application Support team in the resolution of complex support calls escalated by them.
  • Gain an understanding of the Glanbia SAP processes, configuration and enhancement points for the Production Planning (PP) module across our various divisions.
  • Working with Key Business Users to drive the effectiveness of the SAP solution.

     

    Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Business / Information Systems or related fields.
  • SAP certification is an advantage.

     

    Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience required in the core skills of SAP PP (BoMs, Routings, Production Orders, Printing, Confirmations, etc ). Knowledge of FI-CO, MM, QM, SD, WM modules / integration, an advantage.
  • Experience in an SAP PP / Manufacturing configuration and development environment a distinct advantage.

    Travel
