HR Systems Business Analyst Specialist (fixed term contract)

 

An opportunity has arisen for a HR Systems Business Analyst Specialist at Glanbia Business Services in Kilkenny or Citywest, Dublin 24. This is a 12 month fixed term contract role position will report to the HR Systems CoE Manager

The base location of the role can be in our Citywest, Dublin 24 office OR Kilkenny Office, with a blended working arrangement available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.

 

Key Elements of the Role

 

  • SAP Business Analyst to be responsible for delivering initiatives within the HCM functional area
  • Work as part of a large, global HR Transformation team moving from SAP HCM to SuccessFactors
  • Knowledge of or certification in SuccessFactors Talent. Performance or Learning modules highly desirable. Experience of any other SuccessFactors modules an advantage.
  • Liaise with our remote team members in Ireland/USA/ASPAC during implementation of the project.
  • Overall ownership of support calls, ensuring the team’s SLA’s are met with a strong customer service focus.
  • Provide support to the HR community particularly in creation of reports using Query Manager.
  • Develop relationships with Business Unit management and Key Users to drive the effectiveness of the SuccessFactors solution.
  • Participate on multiple (and sometimes concurrent) implementation and continuous improvement projects, including:
    • Definition of scope, based on workshops with business representatives and knowledge of existing core model.
    • Definition of blueprint and securing sign-off by relevant process representatives from the business.
    • Leading build activities including configuration, investigation of enhancement points and definition of technical programming specifications etc.
    • Defining and supervising testing cycles, and training material preparation.
    • Leading cut-over planning and execution and providing initial high-attention post-live support.
    • Hand-over of design to application support team post project.
  • Design and deliver value-added systems initiatives to drive business value.
  • Supports systems upgrades, patches, testing and other technical projects as assigned.
  • Compliance with Glanbia documentation standards.
  • Provide SAP expertise to respond to business requirements and to contribute pro-actively to continuous improvement to Glanbia’s SAP implementations.
  • Provide assistance in the resolution of complex support calls escalated by other team members.
  • Technical mentoring and development of graduates and new joiners to the team where required.
  • Some international travel to project locations may be required as part of the role.

 

Qualifications

  • Qualified with a Bachelor’s Degree in IT or a related discipline

 

Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years’ experience in hands-on configuration and implementation roles within SAP HCM and / or SuccessFactors.
  • Experience in a lead role in at least one full-cycle implementation relating to SAP HCM or SuccessFactors.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery
  • Experience in SuccessFactors would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience in the following HCM SAP modules: Organisational Management, Personnel Administration, Personnel Development, ESS, MSS would also be an advantage.
