People Services Specialist

The People Services function is an integral part of the HR Team, and is responsible for providing an effective and efficient service to Glanbia Ireland, enabling employee self-service and providing quality reporting to the HR Team.  The People Services Specialist partners closely with the HRLT, HRBP, and COE teams to provide best in class customer service to all stakeholders and ensuring our service level agreements are achieved.

 

Key Responsibilities;

  • Support end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including (but not limited to); new hires, employee onboarding and induction, probation, leaves of absence, contractual changes (hours, level, salary and benefits), secondments and leavers
  • Provide administrative support to the HRBP team in relation to employee relations and industrial relations issues
  • Perform data analysis, prepare and present reports
  • Provide support in developing human resources policies, procedures, and programmes, ensuring compliance to same
  • Support the development and roll-out of HR initiatives and systems
  • Provide assistance for the annual performance review, talent review and salary review process
  • Work with Talent Acquisition and the HRBP team to support the execution of the Talent Acquisition strategy and plan within their functional areas
  • Support the Talent Development team to arrange training and development activities
  • Liaise with Payroll department to advise of any payroll amendments and resolve payroll queries
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of all data
  • Ensure GDPR compliance
  • Support HR projects and other HR work as required

 

Key Requirements:

  • Professional qualification in a Human Resources or related field
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar HR Administrative role
  • Knowledge of HR functions and systems
  • Strong analytics and reporting experience
  • Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
  • Strong planning and organisation skills to manage a varied workload and meet deadlines
  • Positive, can do attitude
  • Change mindset and a passion for continuous improvement
  • Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
  • High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Understanding of employment law and data protection
