RPA Developer


A vacancy has arisen for an RPA Developer at Glanbia Business Services. This is a permanent position will report to the Test & Automation COE manager. 


The base location of the role will be Kilkenny or Dublin, with a blended working arrangement available through our Smart Working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.


Role Summary

Glanbia operates SAP ERP, BI, CRM and SRM across multiple locations in Ireland, UK, US, Europe and Asia. The deployment and continuous improvement of these platforms is driven by an in-house centre of excellence, staffed by a team of SAP- certified Business Analysts and developers.

Join our team and work on creating and maintaining RPA, OCR and machine learning solutions for the business.


Key Elements of the Role
•    Design, Develop and Implement RPA solutions in accordance with standard design principles and conventions.

•    Carry out business process assessments and create Process Design Documents (PDD).                 
•    Create and maintain Solution Design Documentation (SDD), process flows, procedures and UAT scenarios.

•    Ability to analyse and understand complex business processes.
•    Regular interaction with Business Users & Analysts to identify and capture potential RPA business processes.
•    Support go-live rollout, handover procedures and change control documents.
•    Strong desire for exploring, evaluating and understanding new technologies.
•    Manage priorities and set expectations when faced with multiple demanding tasks.


•    Third level qualification in Computing/Information Technology or equivalent.


Skills & Experience
•    Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an RPA Development role.
•    Knowledge of an industry RPA tool (UiPath preferred).

•    Scripting knowledge or experience (VB, Python, PowerShell etc).
•    Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills. 
•    Ability to work on one’s own initiative and as part of a team.
•    Excellent attention to detail.


•    UiPath Advanced Certification.
•    Experience using the ELK Stack.

•    Full understanding of the software development life cycle.
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

•    Experience with a configuration management tool such as JIRA.


•    Ability to display a high degree of professionalism.

•    An aptitude for analytical thinking, problem-solving and trouble-shooting.
•    Technically and commercially focused, high levels of enthusiasm and energy.
•    A team player who has the ability to motivate others, making it fun while getting the job done.
•    Enjoys working in a fast-paced, innovative environment where the focus is on continuous improvement and the      

     challenge to make it better.
