SAP FICO Business Analyst - Contractor

 

A vacancy has arisen for a SAP FICO Business Analyst - Contractor at Glanbia Business Services for a period of 6 months. This position will report to the IT Finance COE Manager and can be based in Kilkenny OR Dublin.

 

Key Elements of the Role

 
•Participate in relevant implementations and continuous improvement initiatives, including design, configuration, testing and implementation.
•Provide SAP expert knowledge in the functional areas of Finance and Controlling to respond to business requirements, and position potential solutions.
•Develop relationships with Business Power Users to drive the effectiveness of the SAP solution.
•Acquire knowledge of emerging functionality / solutions, and contribute to their successful implementation within the businesses where appropriate.

 

Requirements:

 

Qualifications

Qualified Accountant or Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or IT

 

Skills & Experience
•At least three year’s SAP implementation and configuration experience – must have participated in at least one full implementation in the role of SAP FICO configuration consultant.
•Ideally SAP experienced in FICO module on version ECC 6.0. in some of the core modules GL, AP, AR, TRM, CCA, PCA, COPA, PC etc.
•Strong cross-functional SAP knowledge e.g. knowledge of integration points into FI & CO.
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
•Experience with integrating other business systems with SAP.
•Basic ABAP coding knowledge, while not essential would be an advantage.
•Ideally a Qualified Accountant with relevant Finance experience.
•Experience in addressing key business issues with IT solutions.
•Ability to display a high degree of professionalism in dealing with business managers and users.
•Flexibility to undertake international travel where required.
