SAP Warehouse Management (WM/IM) Systems Analyst

 

An opportunity has arisen for a SAP Warehouse Management (WM/IM) Systems Analyst with Glanbia Business Services. This is a Permanent position based in our Kilkenny or Dublin office and will report to the Lead Business Analyst, SCM Inventory Management & Logistics

 

Overview

The SAP Warehouse Management (WM/IM) Systems Analyst is a key role within Glanbia’s Supply Chain Management Centre of Excellence. Working on global projects, creating and enabling new business practices or developing new technology platforms to support our business.

 

Key Elements of the Role

 

  • Providing SAP Expert knowledge in the functional area of Inventory and Warehouse management in response to business requirements and to position potential solutions.
  • Providing SAP Expert knowledge in the functional area of 3PL integration working with idocs and there use in the logistics and inventory management areas.
  • Participating in SAP cross functional implementation projects and continuous improvement initiatives including design, configuration, testing and implementation;
    • Definition of SAP WM/IM scope, based on workshops with business representatives and knowledge of existing core model.
    • Definition of SAP WM/IM blueprint and securing sign-off by relevant process representatives from the business.
    • Leading out the SAP WM/IM build activities including configuration, investigation of enhancement points and definition of technical programming specifications etc.
    • Leading Cut-over planning and execution on projects for the WM/IM area and providing initial hyper care post-live support.
  • Coordinating system and process changes while ensuring compliance with internal change management processes.
  • Providing assistance to the Application Support team in the resolution of complex support calls escalated by them.
  • Working with Key Business Users to drive the effectiveness of the SAP solution.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Business / Information Systems or related fields.
  • SAP LE-WM certification would be an advantage.

 

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience required in the core skills of SAP LE-WM-IM (Mobile data entry, transfer order processes, WM receipts and issues processes, SU Management etc.). Experience with MM, QM, SD, PP modules is an advantage.
  • Experience in an SAP WM/IM and LE configuration and development environment a distinct advantage.
  • Deployments of SAP WM/IM Logistics solutions in a global company.
  • Experience with Integration with 3PL (Third party logistics providers) using idocs.
  • Strong knowledge of the ERP process integration points with other modules such as FI-CO, MM, SD, WM-QM and WM-PP.

Travel

  • 20% travel required to the US and other locations where Glanbia conducts its business
