Role Profile:

We are looking for a Supply Chain Design Manager to join our Global Supply Chain. This is a newly created role that aims to form and deliver a holistic vision through digital & process transformation across Transport, Warehousing, Exports and order fulfilment. The scope of the role encompasses Supply Chain and Master Data Management end to end in a broad route to market. The successful candidate must have experience in designing and implementing digital and RTM designs in a large global manufacturing businesses. Key influencers of design will be cost and efficiency. A solid understanding of the full business and a sharp vision are important. The role is focused on the evolution of current IT platforms and functionality, whilst open to new implementations or innovations.

You will work closely with senior level stakeholders. You must be able to communicate and excite people for your vision and demonstrate cross-functional leadership skills.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and Influence logistics process strategy by partnering with business unit leadership, and through the optimisation of the business process value chain, provide strategic recommendations.
  • Consistently help to develop and support our vision for a digital supply chain together with other leaders and cross-functional partners.
  • Identifying synergies across the function and working with the different functions to change processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions
  • Live link with the S&OP process and team offering real time impact analysis as it pertains to logistics.
  • Through the business process architecture that you propose, work towards achieving full end-to-end visibility.
  • Drive a consistent master data strategy that supports the improvement of our information quality and enables systems.
  • Work with our data scientists and advanced analytics team to create the KPIs that are needed for our managers to make better decisions.
  • Be an evangelist for the business process architecture that you propose, and you become a leading advocate for digital literacy in Tirlán’s supply chain.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams and researching the latest developments in technology applicable to the enterprise.

 

This role will support the broader team reporting to the Head of Logistics, and will work closely with all categories and functions.  

 

Key Requirements:

  • 3rd level education or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, or similar.
  • 5 or more years’ experience in or working within Supply Chain
  • Proven ability to influence and communicate strategy
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Strong knowledge of logistic route to market strategies
  • LEAN approach
