Overview

Glanbia is currently seeking to recruit a Treasury Manager – Systems and Projects.  This is a permanent opportunity and will be location in Glanbia House, Head office, Kilkenny. The role will report to the Group Treasurer.

The successful candidate will join a dedicated centralised treasury team and be required to assist in the management and further development of the group’s internationally dimensioned corporate treasury activities.

 

Location:

While likely to be initially working remotely due to current restrictions, the base location of the role will be Head Office, Kilkenny, upon return to the workplace with a blended working arrangement available through our Smart working model which allows you a greater choice in how you work and live, giving you a better work-life balance.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation, integration and leveraging of Treasury systems both on a stand-alone basis and within the Group’s, enterprise wide, SAP management information platforms
  • Primary point of contact between Group Treasury and Glanbia IT function in relation to maintenance of SAP TRM and Serrala Cash Management modules;
  • Coordination of change requests / SAP testing / Data control and management
  • Review and optimisation of treasury processes, controls, reporting and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Primary contact in relation to Governance Risk and Compliance matters
  • Liaison with key stakeholder groups including business units, Group Finance, Taxation, Secretariat, Internal Audit and Glanbia Business Services/IT
  • Ad-hoc project work

 

Qualifications

 

  • 3rd level Degree in Business / Finance / Economics / Accounting
  • Recognised Corporate Treasury or Accounting professional qualification desirable & retain membership of the relevant accounting body

 

Skills & Experience

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience, ideally in a treasury environment but the successful candidate will receive appropriate treasury related training
  • Exposure to SAP TRM and Serrala Cash Management desirable
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel with exposure to Access / SQL. 
  • Power Query, Power BI advantageous.
